Bonjours j'ai un exercice en anglais a faire pour lundi est ce que vous pouvez m'aider svp
EXERCISE 1: PRETERIT versus PRETERIT BE + V-ING
Mrs Lutz décrit la première fois où elle a entendu le fantôme. Choisis le temps du passé qui convient.
a) I (read) ______________________ a book in the living room when I (hear) ______________________ the ghost for the first time.
b) I closed my book and (go) ______________________ into the kitchen.
c) The scene was incredible: knives (fly) ______________________ across the kitchen and plates (crash) ______________________ onto
the floor.
d) That night, while I (sleep) ______________________, I (have) ______________________ terrible dreams

PRETERIT versus PRETERIT BE + V-ING

prétérit be + V-ing : pour décrire des cations en cours à un moment du passé

preterit : pour des actions brèves qui viennent interrompre une action en cours au passé. Pour un succession de faits...

a) I (read) was reading  a book in the living room when I (hear) heard the ghost for the first time. 

b) I closed my book and (go) went into the kitchen.

c) The scene was incredible: knives (fly) were flying across the kitchen and plates (crash) were crashing on to the floor.

d) That night, while I (sleep) was sleeping , I (have) had  terrible dreams
