Il faut utiliser le present continuous :

(+) I am + BV-ing // You-we-they are + Bv-ing // he-she-it is+ BV-ing

(-) I am not + BV-ing // You-we-they are not + Bv-ing // he-she-it not+ BV-ing

(?) Am I + BV-ing ?// Are you-we-they + BV-ing ? // Is he-she-it + BV-ing?

Explications :

1 Ana : Harry No ( manque quelque chose ... Il n'y a rien avant  ? ), he is sitting (Dad/sit) on the beach

2 Mary:  are you making  (you/make) dinner?
