-When kids write to Father Christmas, what do they do with their letter?

When kids write to Father Christmas sometimes they send their letter but they often toss them into the fireplace. ( because they believe that the draught can carry the letters up the chimney and that Father Christmas can read the smoke )

- Il les envoient par la poste ( "sent" )( La Royal Mail et l'adresse officielle du Père Noël ne sont pas mentionnés dans les documents.

- Ils les jettent dans la cheminée car ils croient que l'air, la fumée montent et que le Père Noël  peut lire  

-What's Christmas cake made of? Christmas cake  is made of  fruit ( raisins, currants, sultanas …), spice, almonds covered with marzipan and icing.

-What's the official definition of a White Christmas? Fun but true : Christmas is a White Christmas when a single snowflake has been falling in the 24 hours of Christmas day.

- When was the first Christmas card (or equivalent) sent, and who got it?The first «  Christmas card »  was sent/delivered  in 1611 to King James I of England.

( Ce n'était pas vraiment une carte de Noël mais un document qui en avait les caractéristiques : souhaiter un joyeux Noël.)

The Pōhutukawa since the mid 1800s because this tree is very important in Maori culture. ( C’est un arbre sacré pour les Maori )
