Bonjour, Bronx Manhattan : The Bronx is separated from Manhattan by the Harlem Strait. It is the only neighborhood in New York located on the mainland. Culturally speaking, the Bronx is the birthplace of Rap and Hip Hop. In the streets of this district, more than 75 languages are spoken.
Brooklyn Queens : Brooklyn, one of New York's 5 boroughs, occupies the western end of Long Island. The iconic Brooklyn Bridge, built in 1883, connects it to Manhattan. The neighborhoods that make it up include the upscale Dumbo (located between Manhattan and the Brooklyn Bridges).
Staten Island : We know Staten Island for its mythical ferry, which offers superb views of Manhattan and the Statue of Liberty. However, the island deserves that we stop there for more than 5 minutes – between the 2 ferries – and that we discover a little more about its lands of history and traditions. Staten Island is New York's southernmost borough, and generally the most misunderstood by the general public.
