China's "Wenchuan Earthquake" made world news in 2008 when it claimed the
lives of almost 70,000 people in the Sichuan province, with a further 18,000
people listed as missing in the days that followed. The earthquake struck on May
12, registering at a scale of 8.0 Ms. It could be felt from as far away as Beijing
